Abstracts must focus on injury prevention and safety promotion research, practice or policy and align with the conference themes. Ensure your abstract represents original work and has not been previously published or presented.

    Research Abstracts

    • Title: Choose a concise title.

    • Authors: Include the full names of all authors, their affiliations and email addresses. Indicate the presenting author.

    • Keywords: Include up to 3 keywords that best describe the content.

    • Structure:

    Policy Abstracts

    • Title: Choose a concise title.

    • Authors: Include the full names of all authors, their affiliations and email addresses. Indicate the presenting author.

    Important Notes
    Language: All abstracts must be written and if accepted, presented in English.
    Character Limit: Abstracts must not exceed 2,000 characters (including spaces). The title, keywords, and author information are excluded from this limit. Titles are limited to 100 characters (including spaces). Abstracts exceeding the character limit will not be accepted by the system.
    Graphics or Tables:
    Due to production constraints, graphics and tables cannot be included.

    Authors of accepted abstracts must register for and attend the conference. To confirm participation, registration must be completed by 15 June 2025.

    If registration is not completed by this deadline, the abstract will be removed from the conference programme and will not be included in the Abstract Supplement.

    By submitting your abstract, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
    Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference programme and may be published in the Abstract Supplement.

    Submission Process
  • Abstracts must be submitted via the online portal.

  • Deadline: Abstract submission deadline is April 15, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
  • Review procedure and notification
    Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent by May 15, 2025.
