Authors submitting workshop abstracts for the EU-SAFETY 2025 Conference are encouraged to present interactive and engaging sessions. Please follow the guidelines below:

Workshop Types



  • Round Table Discussion: Engaging discussions with experts on key topics.

  • Scientific Sessions: In-depth presentations on recent research and developments.

  • Practice Sessions: Hands-on workshops and skill-building activities.

  • Panel Discussion: Interactive sessions with industry leaders sharing insights.






Workshop format guidelines

  • Title: Provide a clear and descriptive title (maximum 20 words).

  • Background and Rationale:

  • Objectives

  • Methodology

  • Target Audience

  • Expected Outcomes

  • Main Messages


Important Notes

  • Workshop Duration: Workshops are allocated 60 minutes.

  • Focus Areas: Workshops should address relevant topics in injury and safety promotion and align with the conference themes.

  • Interactive Format: Workshops should include audience participation, group discussions, or other interactive elements to encourage engagement.

  • Language: All workshop proposals must be written and if accepted, must be presented in English.

  • Author Details: Include the name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information for all authors and facilitators. Indicate the workshop coordinator.

  • Word Limit: Workshop proposals should not exceed 3000 characters.

  • Authors of accepted workshop proposals must register for and attend the conference. To confirm participation, registration must be completed by 15 June 2025

  • If registration is not completed by this deadline, the workshop proposal will be removed from the conference programme and will not be included in the Abstract Supplement.

  • Language: All workshop proposals must be written and if accepted, must be presented in English.

  • Author Details: Include the name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information for all authors and facilitators. Indicate the workshop coordinator.

  • Word Limit: Workshop proposals should not exceed 3000 characters (excluding title and author information).

  • Submission: Workshop proposals must be submitted via the online portal.

  • Deadline: Workshop proposals submission deadline is April 15, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.

Review procedure and notification
Workshop abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee based on their clarity, relevance, innovation, and interactivity. Notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent by May 15, 2025.
