Oral presentations guidelines
Oral presentations are chosen based on the evaluation of submitted abstracts by the Scientific Committee. Once your abstract is accepted, you will be required to proceed with one of the following presentation formats:

  • Oral presentation (10 minutes, discussion included).
  • Rapid-fire presentations (5 minutes of presentations limited to 5 slides).

    Technical guidelines:

  • Maintain a consistent layout.
  • Slides must have an aspect ratio of 16:9 (wide screen).
  • Only sans-serif fonts (e.g., Arial).
  • Maximum 10 slides in Powerpoint for Oral presentation & 5 slides for Rapid-fire presentations.
  • Only .pdf and .ppt/pptx files will be accepted

    While not mandatory, the use of below template is highly recommended:

    Please provide your final PPT at info@eu-safety2025.eu and don’t forget to take an extra copy of your presentation to Heraklion.

  • Poster guidelines
    Poster presentations are chosen based on the evaluation of submitted abstracts by the Scientific Committee. Each presenter will have a five-minute time slot to present their poster within a scheduled 60-minute session.

  • Porter presentation (5 minutes to present your poster)


    Technical guidelines:

  • Only printed posters
  • Only Portrait format
  • Dimensions should not exceed A0 size (84 cm wide x 119 cm high)
  • Divide the poster into sections (e.g., Title, Background, Objectives, Conclusions)
  • Text should be readable from a distance of 2 meters
  • Ensure all images, graphs, and visuals in your printed poster are high resolution
